We are recruiting for a Senior PR Consultant to join our team here at Screaming Frog, to work on our growing PR team and alongside the SEO team to help develop PR strategies that drive awareness and engagement to a wide range of clients.
- Role Requirements
- Strong experience in owning and delivering external communications strategies for brands across both B2B and B2C sectors.
- Excellent writing skills and strong experience writing longer-form copy (1,000 words +).
- Great organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong relationships with regional and national media, managing and influencing them to build awareness of the brands they currently work with.
- Creative thinking and an ability to create unique stories and compelling campaign ideas that really stand out and attract coverage.
- Be full of ideas about how even the most seemingly boring of companies can get mainstream media coverage!
- Confident speaking and presentation skills to effectively communicate PR strategies to clients in both in-person and virtual meetings.
- To create, manage and execute PR activities for a wide range of clients to raise awareness, gain coverage and influence audiences.
- Develop, maintain, and grow media relations and develop PR plans to gain media coverage and newsworthy stories online.
- Take a more senior and mature approach internally and take more responsibility for contacting clients directly.
- Take the lead in managing small accounts to become comfortable planning PR activity and time management for clients.
- Take responsibility for daily media monitoring for reactive news opportunities.
- Be comfortable undertaking basic PR tasks like writing press releases, outreaching to media and drafting articles with minimum edits.
- Have an increased understanding of earned media’s influence on AI search and assisting the SEO team with tasks to improve AI visibility.
- Confidently communicate internally with team members and the wider SF teams.
- Be conscious of client campaign time throughout the month, carefully managing your own time to ensure all clients are serviced as expected.
- Work alongside the SEO and content teams to integrate all activity online, to help improve organic visibility.
- Gain experience in developing PR plans for smaller accounts to gain media coverage and newsworthy stories online.

- When your team manager is on leave or absent, support team members on client tasks and their accounts while they are away.
