We are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to support young people within a therapeutic residential setting. This service supports children and young people with complex emotional needs and challenging behaviours, offering a stable, trauma-informed environment. You can apply for set day shifts or set night shifts – no rotating required.

The Homes

  • Supporting children aged 10–17
  • Therapeutic approach with a strong focus on safety, consistency and emotional wellbeing

Hours

  • Set days 11am - 11pm + sleep, 7am - 11am next day or set nights 9:30pm – 7:30am
  • Typically 3–4 shifts per week

Responsibilities

  • Supporting young people with daily routines, emotional regulation and engagement
  • Carrying out welfare checks, particularly for young people at high risk
  • Implementing therapeutic strategies and behaviour support plans
  • Working with young people who present with challenging behaviours
  • Building consistent, therapeutic relationships

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in residential care and with challenging behaviours
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one – we can process this for you)
  • Full Right to Work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Ability to work independently and confidently
  • Level 3 Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential
