We are recruiting for Residential Support Workers to support young people within a therapeutic residential setting. This service supports children and young people with complex emotional needs and challenging behaviours, offering a stable, trauma-informed environment. You can apply for set day shifts or set night shifts β no rotating required.
The Homes
- Supporting children aged 10β17
- Therapeutic approach with a strong focus on safety, consistency and emotional wellbeing
Hours
- Set days 11am - 11pm + sleep, 7am - 11am next day or set nights 9:30pm β 7:30am
- Typically 3β4 shifts per week
Responsibilities
- Supporting young people with daily routines, emotional regulation and engagement
- Carrying out welfare checks, particularly for young people at high risk
- Implementing therapeutic strategies and behaviour support plans
- Working with young people who present with challenging behaviours
- Building consistent, therapeutic relationships
Requirements
- Previous experience working in residential care and with challenging behaviours
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one β we can process this for you)
- Full Right to Work in the UK with no restrictions
- Ability to work independently and confidently
- Level 3 Health & Social Care is beneficial but not essential
