We are recruiting Residential Support Workers to join a group of trauma-informed children’s homes. These homes provide stable, therapeutic care for younger children and are ideal for candidates who are calm, nurturing and committed to long-term outcomes.

The Homes

  • There are 3 services in total with younger children aged 5 - 10
  • Trauma-informed homes
  • All children attend school
  • Strong focus on therapeutic care and relationship-building

The Role

  • Providing consistent, nurturing care to children aged 5–10
  • Supporting children with emotional regulation, routines and development
  • Building long-term, therapeutic relationships
  • Working as part of a stable, supportive team

Hours & Shifts

  • 40 hours per week
  • Ability to complete sleep-in shifts when required
  • Shift patterns:
  • 7:30am – 10:30pm
  • 7:30am – 2:30pm
  • 2:30pm – 10:30pm

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one – we can process this for you)
  • Experience working with children, for example:
  • Residential care
  • Schools or SEN settings
  • Youth work
  • Family support or similar
  • Full Right to Work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Calm, caring, reliable and emotionally resilient nature
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week, including sleep-ins
  • Training & Development

    • Team Teach / Positive Behaviour Support
    • Restraint & physical intervention training
    • Level 3 Residential Childcare Qualification
    • Strong emphasis on professional development and support
