We’re recruiting a Family Assessment Worker to join a dedicated team in Coventry, providing vital support and supervision to families as part of a comprehensive assessment service.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * Ensure the safety and welfare of children is at the heart of all assessments and interventions.\\n\\n * Observe, supervise, record, and assess family interactions, child behaviour, and parental capacity.\\n\\n * Deliver a respectful and strength-based service, valuing each family’s experiences and background.\\n\\n * Work closely with managers and other professionals to support family progress and ensure high-quality practice.\\n\\n * Challenge and teach parenting practices sensitively and appropriately.\\n\\n * Participate in team meetings, training, and professional supervision.\\n\\n * Maintain accurate, timely records in line with organisational standards.\\n\\n * Support with general childcare duties and day-to-day centre operations.\\n\\nRequirements:\\n\\n * Minimum 6 months’ experience in the UK in a relevant setting (social care, SEN, NHS, teaching assistant, or care home).\\n\\n * Strong communication, observation, and report-writing skills.\\n\\n * Compassionate, patient, and committed to promoting positive outcomes for children and families.\\n\\n * Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays.\\n\\n * A driving licence is not essential.\\n\\nShift Pattern:\\n\\n * 4-week rolling rota, working a mix of:\\n\\n * 7:30am – 3:00pm\\n\\n * 2:30pm – 10:00pm\\n\\nWhy Join:\\n\\n * Opportunity to make a real difference in children’s lives.\\n\\n * Supportive, team-focused environment.\\n\\n * Ongoing training and professional development
