I am recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join a residential children's home in Southend. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about supporting young people and committed to delivering high-quality care. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure the home operates effectively, safely and in line with Ofsted and regulatory requirements. * Support the Registered Manager with the overall management and day-to-day running of the home. * Promote the safety, welfare, development and wellbeing of the young people. * Lead, motivate and support the staff team to deliver high-quality care. * Assist with recruitment, safer recruitment checks, inductions and onboarding. * Support staff development through training, supervision, appraisals and performance management. * Monitor care standards and identify areas for improvement. * Assist with audits, quality assurance and compliance checks. * Ensure the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations, legislation and relevant policies. * Support safeguarding, incident, complaint and investigation processes. * Assist with preparing for inspections and implementing any required actions. * Help ensure appropriate staffing levels and resources are maintained. * Support admissions, transitions and care planning for young people. * Work alongside social workers...
