We are seeking compassionate, resilient and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our team supporting children and young people aged 8-17 with learning disabilities and emotional/behavioural needs. We have day shifts, night shifts or a combination of both available — whatever works best for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent emotional, practical and behavioural support
- Maintain a safe, nurturing and positive environment
- Promote independence through structured routines and life skills coaching
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
- Support individuals with challenging behaviours, trauma and complex needs
- Participate in in-house and community-based activities
- Work collaboratively as part of a committed, child-focused team
- Follow safeguarding principles and Children's Home Regulations (Ofsted)
What We're Looking For
- Full-time availability (Essential)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (Essential)
- Minimum 6 months' UK social care experience (children or adults)
- A proactive, resilient and confident approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred — can be arranged if needed)
