Registered Manager
to join a new and growing childrens residential service. This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely cares about childrens residential care and wants to play a key role in creating a home where children feel safe, valued, supported and able to thrive. The service has a strong focus on therapeutic care, emotional wellbeing and enrichment, with the belief that children deserve more than just good care

The role As Registered Manager, youll have a key role in shaping the home, developing the team and embedding a strong culture from the outset. Youll be responsible for: Creating a warm, nurturing and child-centred environment Leading and developing a committed staff team Promoting a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach Working alongside therapeutic support to understand and meet each childs individual needs Creating meaningful enrichment activities and experiences Supporting children to build confidence, independence and resilience Developing positive relationships with children, families and professionals Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care and compliance Ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and best practice Driving strong outcomes for the children in your care About you Were looking for someone who sees childrens residential care as more than just a job. Youll be an experienced Registered Manager who understands the responsibility that comes with leading a home and, most importantly, genuinely cares about the children and young people you support. To be considered, youll need: A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care A good track record with Ofsted inspections Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards A relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management, or equivalent Experience leading, developing and motivating a team A strong understanding of therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches Excellent safeguarding knowledge A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children The kind of person we're looking for Were looking for a manager who believes that the little things matter.
