The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 Β£ per hour.

We are recruiting experienced Ad Hoc Support Workers to support children aged 5 to 17 within residential children homes and 16 to 18 year olds within semi-independent services. This is ad hoc work only, covering sickness, annual leave and emergency/crisis situations. The young people supported present with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD) and often have complex needs, including:

  • Mental health challenges
  • Self-harm behaviours
  • Substance misuse
  • Learning disabilities
  • History of offending
  • Asylum-seeking backgrounds

While the majority of placements are planned, the service also supports emergency referrals, so confidence working in high-pressure situations is important.
