Are you a passionate and experienced leader looking to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people? We are currently seeking a Registered Manager to lead a specialist Childrens Residential Service supporting young people.
As the Ofsted Registered Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations and Quality Standards (2015). You will lead a committed team in delivering safe, nurturing, and high-quality care that promotes the emotional, social, and physical wellbeing of each young person.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of the home, including care planning, staffing, budgeting, and compliance.
- Lead and inspire your team to work collaboratively with young people, families, and external professionals.
- Ensure that care and support are delivered in line with individual needs and the homes Statement of Purpose.
- Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and risk management.
- Drive continuous improvement through reflection, learning, and development.
- Proven management experience within a childrens residential care setting.
- Completed (or willingness to begin within 3 months) one of the following: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young Peoples Services, RMA / NVQ Level 4 / ILM Level 5 in Leadership & Management.
- Strong working knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and The Children Act 1989/2010.
