Job Description Were looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to join a new and growing childrens residential service. \n This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely cares about childrens residential care and wants to play a key role in creating a home where children feel safe, valued, supported and able to thrive. \n The service has a strong focus on therapeutic care, emotional wellbeing and enrichment, with the belief that children deserve more than just good care they deserve positive experiences, opportunities and people around them who genuinely believe in them. \n The role \n As Registered Manager, youll have a key role in shaping the home, developing the team and embedding a strong culture from the outset. \n Youll be responsible for: \n \n Creating a warm, nurturing and child-centred environment \n Leading and developing a committed staff team \n Promoting a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach \n Working alongside therapeutic support to understand and meet each childs individual needs \n Creating meaningful enrichment activities and experiences \n Supporting children to build confidence, independence and resilience \n Developing positive relationships with children, families and professionals \n Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care and compliance \n Ensuring the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations and best practice \n Driving strong outcomes for the children in your care \n \n About you \n Were looking for someone who sees childrens residential care as more than just a job. \n Youll be an experienced Registered Manager who understands the responsibility that comes with leading a home and, most importantly, genuinely cares about the children and young people you support. \n To be considered, youll need: \n \n A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Registered Manager within children's residential care \n A good track record with Ofsted inspections \n Strong knowledge of the Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards \n A relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management, or equivalent \n Experience leading, developing and motivating a team \n A strong understanding of therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches \n Excellent safeguarding knowledge \n A genuine passion for improving outcomes for children \n \n The kind of person we're looking for \n Were looking for a manager who believes that the little things matter. \n Someone who will celebrate a child's achievements, encourage them to try something new, listen when they need someone to talk to and make sure they have opportunities to simply enjoy being a child. \Someone who leads by example and wants the home to be somewhere that children genuinely feel safe, respected and at home. \n Youll be able to help shape the culture, develop your team and contribute to creating a home built around strong values, therapeutic support and meaningful experiences for children. \n If youre an experienced Registered Manager with a strong Ofsted track record and youre looking for a role where your values genuinely align with the service, wed love to hear from you. \
