We are recruiting Residential Support Workers to join a supportive and well-established family-run organisation providing care for young people within therapeutic EBD residential homes in the Basildon area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a long-term career within children's residential care, with full training and progression opportunities available.
Based across 3 children's residential homes within close proximity of each other in Basildon, young people are typically aged 14-17, although placements can be accepted from age 11+. Services support young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Shift Patterns
- Candidates must be flexible to work both day and night shifts:
- Day shifts: 8am - 8pm
- Night shifts: 8pm - 8am
- Expected commitment of 3-4 shifts per week

Training & Development
The company invests heavily in staff development and progression. Restraint Training - If training is not already held, the company will fully fund and enrol staff onto accredited restraint training. Please note: if a staff member leaves before moving into a permanent role, training costs may need to be repaid.
Qualifications & Career Progression
Once permanent, staff are enrolled onto the Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification, opening progression opportunities within the company. Strong focus on staff wellbeing and progression.
