We are seeking an experienced Project Manager β Civil Infrastructure, in Manchester, to lead the successful delivery of civil infrastructure projects from inception through to completion. This is a senior, client-facing role requiring strong leadership, commercial awareness and technical oversight to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in managing multidisciplinary teams, maintaining excellent client relationships and supporting the continued growth of SCP.

Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Delivery: Lead and manage projects through all stages of the project lifecycle; Define, agree and manage project programmes, milestones and deliverables; Coordinate design teams, manage package handovers and approvals; Proactively manage project risks, scope changes and delivery challenges; Maintain project risk registers and implement mitigation strategies.
- Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders; Build and maintain strong, proactive client relationships; Communicate progress, risks and expectations clearly and effectively; Prepare and present progress reports, proposals and project documentation.
- Financial & Commercial Management: Manage project budgets, financial performance and forecasting; Prepare fee proposals and contribute to larger bids and tenders; Oversee WIP, invoicing, debtor management and financial reporting; Manage appointments, sub-consultants and purchase orders; Support contractual matters and liaise with legal teams where required.
- Programme, Planning & Resource Management: Develop detailed project plans and communication strategies; Estimate resource requirements and manage team capacity; Coordinate internal and external resources to meet project objectives; Lead weekly workload planning and prioritisation.
