The predicted salary is between 12 - 16 £ per hour.

Location: Folkestone, Kent

Pay Rate: £12.65 per hour

Shifts Available: Days only - 3 x 6-hour shifts (Monday & Friday 10 am - 4 pm) and 9 - 5 pm (Wednesday)

Access to a vehicle is required, due to the geographical location of the role.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be a patient, calm, and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to tailor their approach to meet the client’s unique needs. They will be observant, safety-conscious, and capable of providing close supervision in the community to ensure the client’s well-being at all times. Compassion, professionalism, and the ability to maintain clear boundaries are essential, particularly when managing challenging behaviours or navigating sensitive topics. Reliability and consistency are key, offering structure and reassurance while remaining confident in responding to medical emergencies such as seizures. Strong teamwork and communication skills are also vital, enabling effective collaboration with the client’s mother and the wider care team to ensure high-quality, consistent care within the agreed home environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in the care sector is required inclusive of business insurance for your mode of transport.
