Scout Recruiting is now working with a fantastic market leading company to recruit for a Spares Sales Representative. In this role your main responsibility is to support all the global customers with their requirements for spare parts. This is a full time permanent role. The role is a hybrid position 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Salary £27500- £30K plus guaranteed commission, with a review after 6 months plus 22 days holiday and 3 additional days over Christmas plus bank holidays. Also included is a team commission bonus paid twice a year and a host of non-salaried benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the Spares Department to ensure that required sales turnover targets and profit margins are achieved.
  • Provide support to all UK and overseas customers with enquiries for spare parts, via email and phone, responding with and providing necessary quotations.
  • Ensure customer quotations are followed up and lost reasons recorded appropriately.
  • Work with the appropriate departments to process jobs from receipt of P/O through to invoicing.
  • Identify parts required from Bills of materials and check if pricing of item is current, obtaining new quotes from suppliers when applicable.
  • Call suppliers/finding new suppliers when necessary to obtain better pricing and create business relations.
  • Liaise with appropriate departments to hand over information to facilitate the preparation of orders for dispatch ensuring that all items are correctly identified and suitably packed for appropriate method of transport.
  • Prepare export documentation to meet the requirements of overseas customs.
  • Organise the purchasing of job specific parts and stock replenishments where necessary by working with the appropriate department and purchasing the required parts when required.
  • Maintain housekeeping within spares packing area and any other area used.
  • Ensure all department and company procedures are followed and adapted where necessary.
  • Complete and provide support to all relevant department tasks associated with non-conformances.
  • Provide recommended spare parts lists for new contracts and existing equipment.
  • Identify any other possible opportunities for the business to generate additional sales by informing customers of new services available.
