Buyer

Due to continued growth of our client’s business, located on the outskirts of Stamford an opportunity has arisen for a talented Buyer to join their team. The successful candidate will be a talented buying/procurement professional with experience, preferably within a manufacturing/engineering environment. This is a full-time permanent role. Salary expectations are between £45,000 – £55,000 plus and excellent non salaried package. Key Responsibilities: * Purchase from BOM's * Create purchase orders * Liaise with supply chain to ensure on time delivery * Work with Quality & Project teams Key Skills * Experience in buying/purchasing within engineering/fabrication * Strong sourcing ability * Good relevant experience – ideally CIPS (or working towards) * Excellent negotiating skills * Strong communication skills * IT literate (Microsoft Office), with good Excel * MRP knowledge * A strong team player Short listing will start immediately.
