Founding Account Executive at a DeepTech start-up
Location: London (hybrid)
Salary: £60k base / £60 OTE + stock
Role And Responsibilities
- Drive new business and account expansion into EMEA territory, where managing a high velocity of transactions is key to success.
- Focused pipeline generation on defined top target accounts/sub-sectors.
- Collaborating with technology ecosystem and alliance partners to accelerate new opportunity discovery.
- Manage opportunities through the sales cycle from initial inquiry/outbound interaction through to forecasted pipeline.
- Meet quarterly and annual revenue objectives for territory, whilst reporting on sales, activities, progress on a regular basis through CRM and sales forecasting tools.
Requirements
- Minimum 3+ years of sales experience in high velocity, SaaS sales environments with a proven “hunter” mentality - MEDDPICC-trained.
- 1+ years of progressive SaaS software sales experience combined (AE).
- 1 year+ experience in a start-up/scale up (requires Start-up DNA).
- Preference for promotions from an SDR into an AE at current company.
- Track record of success in quota attainment, within a highly technical sales process.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, financial, and organisational capabilities. Able to thrive in an evolving, entrepreneurial structure and environment.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment, collaborating with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work at both a tactical and strategic level.
- Must possess a can-do, self-starter mentality in a highly collaborative atmosphere.
- EU language proficiency is strongly preferred.
