Financial Assistant – Part Time Finance Assistant

Scotts Project Trust is a charity based in Kent dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for adults with learning disabilities. We aim to help individuals realise their potential for a fulfilled and happy life. Our services include day services, a residential care home, and a supporting independence service. We offer a variety of courses at our newly refurbished day services centre.

This is a permanent office based contract for 30 hours a week (negotiable hours/days) with a salary ranging £29-32,000 pa FTE.

Person Specification

  • AAT qualification or qualified by experience of working within a finance department
  • Good knowledge and experience using Xero and Excel essential
  • Very good knowledge of all areas of accounting and cash flow management
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
  • Calm, patient and professional demeanour
  • Willing to work at the office site with only one day per week remote working
  • Own vehicle for commute due to location
