We are a well-established, family-run independent garage and MOT test centre looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team. We’re a busy workshop with a steady local customer base, modern diagnostic equipment, and a strong reputation for doing the job properly. The role includes:
- Servicing, maintenance and general repairs
- Brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts and mechanical repair work
- Diagnostic checks and fault-finding using modern diagnostic equipment
- Vehicle inspections and identifying required repairs
- Working safely and accurately on customer vehicles
- Keeping job cards clear and communicating issues properly
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or similar
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical repair ability
- Able to work confidently with hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
- Good attention to detail and a safe, methodical approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Own tools preferred
