Overview

Technical and Maintenance Planner role at ScottishPower. Based onshore at the Lowestoft O&M Base, East Anglia ONE offshore windfarm. The role is part of the Site Team responsible for developing and maintaining an overarching maintenance plan, coordinating maintenance activities, managing planning systems, and supporting operational teams to maintain asset integrity and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Planning & Coordination: work with Deputy Site Managers to ensure planned works are delivered on time and safely; support planning of critical and routine tasks including major component changes and annual campaigns.
  • Coordinate and prioritise multiple scopes of work across Balance of Plant, WTG, OFSS, ONSS, and major projects; review resource planners and flag shortages in advance.
  • Lead daily coordination meetings to manage operations, set priorities, and resolve access or crane restrictions.
  • Work Requests & Access Control: facilitate and control site work requests and asset access; maintain accurate site access restrictions and update the Anomalies Register.
  • Track works across the windfarm to ensure progress visibility and adjust maintenance schedules for delays or disruptions.
  • SAP & System Management: administer the SAP maintenance system at site level; liaise with global SAP teams; generate and manage work orders; act as site focal point for SAP and provide guidance/training.
  • Maintain SAP database and Asset Snag Register; support digitalisation using Power BI and Power Automate for reporting and workflow efficiency.
  • Operational Support: prepare and issue work packs with documentation and safety instructions; collaborate with Operations Engineering to assess defects and integrate corrective maintenance; support RAMS and contractual work orders for ad-hoc tasks.
  • Procedure development and continuous improvement: contribute to site processes, work with Warehouse Coordinator on parts/spares, and support site process improvements.
  • Reporting & Analysis: review daily reports and defect/rectification reports; produce performance dashboards and reports; develop Power BI dashboards and present updates to management.
  • Compliance & Continuous Improvement: ensure works comply with RAMS, risk assessments, and method statements; assist with contractual work orders and MOC documentation; support digitalisation initiatives.
  • Additional Responsibilities: determine the need for dangerous goods documentation; support site audits and ad-hoc projects for safe operation of the windfarm.

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to plan multiple work scopes and create an overarching plan.
  • Ability to prioritise work scopes and manage simultaneous operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Advanced experience in the use of SAP IT or similar maintenance systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively monitor and influence third-party contractors.
  • Ability to make decisions in a pressurised environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Ability to work within a multi-national organisation.
