Scottish Water is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and adaptable individual to join our Multifunctional Waste Water team in the Wester Ross Area (Gairloch/Ullapool).
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain wastewater treatment processes, pumping stations and clear chokes on the wastewater network.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and seek opportunities to improve environmental performance.
- Record data accurately and spot changes in monitoring data.
- Work independently and efficiently within a fast‑paced, regulated environment.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to work independently.
- Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Understanding of health and safety practices.
- Capacity to learn new systems and complete online training quickly.
- Experience with internal and external stakeholders (bonus).
