You will be part of the People team responsible for specific functional business areas and will drive the implementation and delivery of best‑in‑class people management operations, processes and procedures.
You will work collaboratively with the wider People & Development team (ten colleagues), across the full employee life cycle, including recruitment and onboarding, colleague engagement, employee relations, colleague development, health and wellbeing, policy development, performance management, diversity and inclusion, pay and reward, talent management and succession planning.
You will have previous experience working with and advising line managers at all levels, with the ability to manage all employee relations cases within your allocated business area in a sensitive and pragmatic way to achieve a balance between being an employer of choice and commercial interests. You will bring a significant breadth of knowledge on commonly used people concepts, best practices, and procedures in employee relations, talent acquisition and ideally reward.
You will be confident working autonomously and will be able to prioritise competing demands. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be confident to communicate at all levels with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and confidentially.
