The TRACC Campaign is seeking an ambitious and motivated Project & Fundraising Consultant to lead one of the most important community projects in the Highlands.
Our vision is to secure the future of aquatics, sport, health and wellbeing in Tain and the wider Easter Ross and East Sutherland area through the development of a new swimming pool and associated sports facilities. With planning permission already in place and strong community support behind the project, we are now looking for a dedicated individual to help turn this vision into reality.
About The Role
Reporting to the TRACC Campaign Steering Group, the Project & Fundraising Consultant will provide the leadership, coordination and momentum required to progress the project and secure the significant funding needed for delivery.
Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Leading the overall project on behalf of the campaign.
- Finalising development plans and supporting the progression of the approved facility design.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with community groups, elected members, partner organisations, funders and key stakeholders.
- Identifying, researching and securing funding opportunities from local, regional and national sources.
- Preparing high-quality funding applications, business cases and supporting documentation.
- Developing and delivering a comprehensive fundraising strategy.
- Coordinating community engagement and communications activity.
- Monitoring project milestones, funding pipelines and reporting requirements.
- Providing regular progress reports to the Steering Group.
About You
We are looking for an individual who combines project management expertise with strong fundraising and relationship-building skills.
You Will Ideally Have
- A proven track record of securing grant funding, sponsorship or investment for significant projects.
- Experience of project management and delivering complex programmes of work.
- Excellent written communication and bid-writing skills.
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
- The confidence to work with a wide range of partners and represent the campaign publicly.
- An ability to work independently while maintaining momentum and delivering results.
- Experience within community, sport, charity, regeneration or public sector environments would be advantageous.
