Development Coach in Renfrew

Overview

REN96 would be keen to discuss this opportunity with interested, enthusiastic and development focused swim coaches. We currently have a position in Renfrewshire to work with our junior swimmers. Hours of work will be evenings and include a weekend session.

We are looking for a Development Coach to join the club and build on our achievements from the 24/25 season and support our Coaching team in delivering against our 3-year plan for the club. We are a large club of ~280 members, which currently consists of 5 layers starting with our performance squad, then age group, junior development, skills, and foundation squads as well as a successfully competitive master’s squad of more than 60 athletes.

Responsibilities

As a Development Coach your primary focus would be the Skills & Fitness squads within the club.

Qualifications

• PVG Scheme Membership
• Member of Scottish Swimming
• Sign and adhere to the Coach’s Code of Conduct
• Must hold a minimum of UKCC Level 1 qualification or equivalent (UKCC level 2 preferred) and be willing to work towards level 2/SSCQ equivalent.
• Child Wellbeing & Protection in Sport (renewable every 3 years)
• Hold an up to date Lifeguard / NASTAC qualification or willing to obtain a NASTAC qualification
