St Thomas Amateur Swimming Club is seeking an inspiring and driven Head Coach to lead and develop our competitive swimming programme in the North East. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate coach to shape the club’s performance pathway, support swimmers of all ages and abilities, and build a positive, inclusive, and aspirational team culture.
The Head Coach will be responsible for the strategic planning and delivery of high-quality training programmes, competition preparation, and coach development, working closely with club volunteers, committee members, and key partners.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to swimmer welfare, athlete development, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a motivated individual with proven coaching experience, recognised coaching qualifications, and a clear vision for growing participation and performance within a community focused club environment.
