Due to an internal promotion, we have an exciting opportunity within our Finance Department. We are looking to recruit to the role of Finance Officer on a temporary basis until 30 April 2028.

  • Help in the monthly budget monitoring process by compiling information and holding meetings with your own budget holders.
  • Help compile the SSSC annual budgets.
  • Help in the production of the SSSC statutory annual accounts.
  • Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Compile information for financial or statistical returns.
  • Help train and develop finance and non-finance staff.

Requirements:

  • Holds a relevant HNC or equivalent Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) qualification or degree, or have significant experience.
  • Has organisational skills that help you to prioritise and manage your own workload.
  • Can work on their own initiative and with minimal supervision.
