THE ROLE The successful candidate will join our engineering team working across a varied range of projects and responsibilities. Responsibilities will vary depending on experience and qualifications but will include the servicing and maintenance of our plant equipment and vessels throughout our Orkney estate. We are flexible in tailoring responsibilities and progression opportunities to suit the successful candidate’s level of experience and career ambitions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE We are looking for individuals who are motivated, reliable, and enthusiastic about engineering. Candidates should be practical, proactive and eager to learn. We welcome applications from strong communicators who work well as part of a team and are able to demonstrate a strong commitment to maintaining and developing a positive safety culture. Working hours are 40 hours per week Monday – Friday. You will also be required to take part in a weekend and on-call rota. For the right candidate, we would also be willing to offer relocation support packages where relocation is required for the role.
