We are looking for a Player Development Manager to play a key role in shaping the holistic experience of players across the Scotland Women’s National Team and wider performance pathways. This is a unique opportunity to positively impact elite athletes’ wellbeing, growth, and long‑term success, both on and beyond the field.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead the design and delivery of our player development and welfare programmes for Scotland Women’s rugby.

  • Proven experience in player welfare, wellbeing, education, or personal development—ideally within elite sport, preferably rugby and/or women’s sport.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust, show empathy, and support players through complex environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, ensuring clear, effective, and inclusive interactions.
  • Strong organisational and programme‑management ability, including planning, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Relationship‑building strengths, enabling honest, supportive, and impactful connections with players and colleagues.
