Shape the future of professional rugby. As a National Talent Pathway Coach, you’ll develop high-potential Year 1 and Year 2 players through expert coaching, performance analysis and constructive feedback—sharpening their technical and tactical skills to help them excel to the highest level.
What You Will Be Doing
- Deliver expert coaching, analysis and feedback to develop players’ technical and tactical skills for professional and representative rugby.
- Create and manage Individual Player Development Plans, providing regular exposure to elite rugby environments.
- Collaborate with international teams, clubs, schools and regional stakeholders to share best practice and strengthen player development.
- Identify, support and develop regional coaches while maintaining professional coaching standards and completing ongoing CPD.
- Support regional programme management, player identification and tracking systems, while ensuring safeguarding and a safe working environment.
What We’re Looking For
- At least three years’ experience leading a multidisciplinary team in a high-performance sport environment.
- Proven experience developing young rugby players and managing and influencing relevant stakeholders.
- Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office; previous experience as an athlete is desirable.
- A satisfactory PVG check and a full, valid driving licence are essential.
