We are looking for an experienced groundsperson to join our team, who has strong technical experience in delivering excellent sporting grounds. What you will be doing:
- Maintain high‑quality rugby playing surfaces by delivering weekly, monthly and seasonal care and maintenance programmes.
- Coordinate pitch usage, training schedules and facility allocations to support smooth daily operations.
- Plan and oversee workloads within the grounds team, ensuring resources, budgets and equipment are used efficiently.
- Promote a safe working environment by applying Health & Safety standards, managing chemicals properly and carrying out risk assessments.
What we’re looking for:
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (such as NVQ, SVQ or GMA Technical Diploma) and at least five years of related experience.
- PA1 and PA6 certification for safe use of handheld applicators.
- Experience supervising or mentoring team members, with strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- A solid understanding of Health & Safety requirements, plus a valid driving licence.
