A fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of a world-class performance analysis service for the Scotland Women’s National Team, providing critical video analysis and data-driven insights that directly influence coaching decisions before, during, and after matches. Being fully embedded within the coaching environment, the role combines detailed performance reporting with strategic player monitoring across programmes and competitions. It also drives consistency and excellence in analysis standards, processes, and metrics across the women’s high-performance pathway.

What you will be doing:

  • Deliver high-performance performance analysis support across the Scottish Rugby Women’s pathway, ensuring consistent and aligned services for coaches and players.
  • Lead analysis provision for the Central Programme and Glasgow Warriors Women outside of national team campaigns, while supporting the Women’s National Team as an integrated Assistant Analyst during campaigns.
  • Provide specialist analysis in a key area of the game, using detailed insights to enhance coaching delivery and maintain alignment across the wider performance system.
  • Produce and communicate performance insights through video analysis, statistical reporting, opposition and referee reviews, and engaging presentations that support decision-making and player development.
  • Drive continuous improvement by supporting Individual Development Plans, maintaining analysis resources and databases, and leveraging innovative technologies, including AI, to enhance reporting and learning.

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in performance analysis within a high-performance environment.
  • Proficient in performance analysis software and hardware, including Hudl, Sportscode, Hudl Studio, Tableau/Power BI, Excel, and video capture systems.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly within the Apple ecosystem and presentation tools such as Keynote.
  • Sound knowledge of rugby union and its performance analysis requirements.
  • Proven ability to thrive in demanding environments, meet tight deadlines, travel internationally, and adapt to changing schedules.
