We're looking for a Junior Physiotherapist to join the team at Edinburgh Rugby. This is a role designed to give you real clinical responsibility from day one, within a supportive team that is genuinely invested in your growth. You will work directly alongside experienced senior clinicians, delivering hands-on treatment and rehabilitation support to a professional squad, contributing to match day medical cover, and building the foundations of a long-term career in high-performance sport. What you will be doing:

  • Providing manual therapy, soft tissue work and acute injury management to the squad
  • Assisting with gym and on-grass rehab sessions, monitoring loading and technique throughout, and collecting objective data that feeds the RTP process
  • Providing secondary pitch-side cover at training and assist the medical team on home and away match days
  • Supporting colleagues with injury surveillance data entry and contributing to internal clinical audits

What we’re looking for:

  • Chartered Physiotherapist (HCPC & CSP registered), with Level 2 or 3 Pitch-side Trauma Certification
  • Previous internship or 1–2 years' experience in a sporting environment (rugby experience desirable)
  • Excellent time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • A growth mindset - collaborative, receptive to feedback and always looking to learn
