We're looking for a passionate communications professional to help us tell the community story louder, to more people, and with greater impact. As our Communications Lead for Rugby Development, you'll be at the heart of how rugby grows, connects, and inspires at every level. If you know how to craft a compelling narrative, build media relationships, and turn a strategic objective into a moment that captures a nation's attention - we want to hear from you.
What you will be doing:
- Leading our Rugby Development communications strategy by driving a communications plan aligned to strategic priorities, collaborating with our Marketing, Social and Content teams as the lead voice on messaging for the community game.
- Identifying and delivering standout milestones and moments that matter in the rugby calendar.
- Championing the community game, ensuring Rugby Development and the domestic game is always well represented.
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to share stories that maximise reach and impact.
What we’re looking for:
- Someone that can translate high-level priorities into clear, compelling narratives.
- Ability to establish strong media relationships and a proven track record of generating impactful coverage, managing proactive campaigns and reactive situations.
- A confident collaborator - you build trusted relationships with partners, colleagues and grassroots clubs and you know how to bring people along with you.
- Experience leading integrated communication plans across communications, marketing and digital channels.
