This is a Temporary, Full Time vacancy.
We're looking for a dedicated and forward-thinking individual to play a central role as Edinburgh Rugby Academy Analyst. Working closely with talented young athletes and elite coaches, you'll drive performance through cutting-edge analysis and innovative feedback methods, helping shape the future club and international players of tomorrow.
What you will be doing:
- Deliver detailed video and statistical reports on player performance, presenting in-depth insight into senior academy players' development aligned to their Individual Player Plans.
- Lead analysis provision at training and on matchday, covering team analysis, data collection and reporting.
- Manage all match and training footage and data for archiving and analysis, maintaining the analysis hardware and software used across the programme.
- Drive player and coach learning through engaging video, statistics and visual reporting.
What we’re looking for:
- Performance analysis experience in a high-performance sporting environment, ideally working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong rugby union knowledge; playing or refereeing experience is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with Hudl products (Sportscode, Studio) and data visualisation tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Excellent self-management, planning and organisation skills, with the ability to work to deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
