The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
Applications are invited for the post of Team Leader in National 5 Physical Education. A Team Leader is responsible for supporting the Principal Assessor to ensure that national standards are being consistently applied and maintained.
Applicants must currently be involved in the delivery and assessment of National 5 Physical Education and have experience in other key appointee roles demonstrating competence in assessing to the national standard. Further details on the requirements of the Team Leader role are available which contain the contract specification, selection criteria, and key performance measures.
Team Leaders require up to 3 days of release and will also be required to undertake duties in their own time (evenings/weekends) to fulfil the duties of this post. Team Leaders will be required on the following dates to attend procedural meetings in 2026:
- Standardisation: Face to Face meeting: Sunday 10 May - Wednesday 13 May
- Markers meeting: online meeting: Wednesday 20 May
Own time will also be required to support a team of markers during marking. A responsibility fee and daily rates are paid for own time duties as well as release compensation.
