The Scottish Qualifications Authority is Scotland's national awarding and accreditation body. We are looking for a Cleaner to work within the Facilities team to ensure our culture and values support the engagement and wellbeing of our staff and foster their commitment to the success of SQA.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake cleaning of SQA premises ensuring that required standards are maintained. In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- Undertaking cleaning duties to required standard – toilets, hoovering, disposal of waste, dusting, floor mopping, cleaning of kitchen areas etc.
- Ensuring all areas of responsibility are covered during each shift which will involve tasks which require bending and lifting.
Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Communicating daily with other members of the Team to ensure all areas of work are covered.
- Applicants should be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
This is a part time post with the hours 4pm – 9pm Monday to Thursday and 3pm – 8pm on Friday. SQA offer a fantastic benefits package in return for your talent.
