Job Purpose: The post holder will provide an effective and efficient procurement and stores service to the establishment within strict deadlines. They will accurately collate and process individual orders and deliver within the prison.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver an effective, efficient, and timeous procurement and stores services, by liaising with other functions within the department and establishment.
- Contribute towards an effective stock management system.
- Entry of accurate data into the Agresso financial computer system.
- Unloading and loading vehicles manually or by mechanical means (training will be provided) and ensuring all Health & Safety practices and procedures are adhered to.
- Maintaining accurate, auditable records of all transactions.
- To carry out any other duties equal with the post holder level within the organisation, such as delivering canteen.
