Verify relevant data held on Prisoner Record System and accurately interpret warrants and accompanying documentation to carry out sentence calculations in accordance with legislation and SPS requirements
Accurately maintain a database of prisoners required to attend court and liaise with Procurator Fiscal to organise their attendance at court.
Prepare in advance a daily liberation scroll and ensure that any necessary documentation has been served prior to liberation.Liaise with population managers to accurately maintain a database of prisoners eligible to transfer to other establishments and co-ordinate their movement in line with the transfer matrix.Maintain Filing Systems in line with the local and national requirements.Responsible for checking and responding to enquiries received via e-mail from Staff External Agencies and Prisoners Family members and doing so in line with the Data Protection Act.Person SpecificationSPS recruitment and selection practice is based on the fundamentals of our Behavioural Competency Framework.
