The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
Location - HMP Inverness and will transfer to the new HMP Highland on opening. An exciting opportunity has arisen within HMP Inverness as we recruit for a Maintenance Operative to join the Estates Team. The Maintenance Operative will support the Estates Maintenance Team by primarily carrying out basic routine planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and repair tasks, housekeeping and cleaning duties. This will also include exterior grounds maintenance. Work will be carried out to pre-set timescales, technical direction and standards.
If you have the following, we would like to hear from you:
- Minimum of two National 5's, including Maths and English or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience of practical or manual working (essential)
- Skills and experience in using and handling tools and equipment; please provide examples of your experience (essential)
- Experience in carrying out basic engineering maintenance, repair tasks, grounds maintenance and painting; please provide examples of your experience (desirable)
- Sound knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and Safe Systems of Work; please provide evidence to demonstrate your knowledge (essential)
