Scottish Orthodontics is looking for enthusiastic Dental Laboratory Assistants to support its busy laboratories in Musselburgh and central Edinburgh. These roles are ideal for individuals with strong attention to detail who enjoy working with their hands in a technical, healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist dental technicians with the production, adjustment and finishing of orthodontic and dental appliances (e.g. retainers, study models, bite registrations).
- Prepare and pour impressions, trim models and help maintain accurate identification and tracking of all lab work.
- Ensure all materials, equipment and work areas are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Support accurate record-keeping and the organisation of incoming and outgoing lab work.
- Follow all laboratory protocols, infection prevention procedures and health.
