The Post: The Central Legal Office (CLO) is part of NHS National Services Scotland and provides legal services to the NHS in Scotland. This post is an exciting opportunity to join the Employment Department, and work in a team that delivers a comprehensive employment law service to the NHS in Scotland.
The Candidate: You will have an interesting and diverse workload and enjoy all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, including the preparation and presentation of cases at Tribunal and delivery of training to clients. Part of your role will be to support senior solicitors, so it is essential that you are a team player and enjoy working in a collegiate environment. You will be required to undergo a Disclosure Scotland check; any candidate who has lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
