We are looking to hire a solicitor, ideally 0-2 years' PQE. We have a varied civil practice which includes family law and matrimonial matters, but also general civil matters including, but not limited to, debt recovery, education, commercial and property litigation, employment and adults with incapacity work.
The role would be in our litigation department and primarily be focussed on family law and matrimonial. However, the candidate should be keen to undertake other areas of civil practice and will be given the necessary assistance and support.
Candidate Specification
- We are seeking a candidate with drive and determination as well as a natural aptitude for litigation work.
- The candidate will be flexible and able to apply themselves to different practice areas and disciplines.
- The candidate will be commercially focussed and capable of working with a high degree of autonomy.
- The candidate will be keen to appear in courts and tribunals and will demonstrate a desire to improve and develop their advocacy skills.
- The candidate will have a "can do" attitude and confidence in dealing with clients and different areas of law, including legal research on novel points of law and practice.
