The predicted salary is between 41064 - 48822 £ per year.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the in-house legal team on an open-ended contract. As a key member of the legal team, you will advise the institution on a broad range of legal issues related to commercial and contractual matters.
Although a significant focus of the role will be complex legal agreements, there will be opportunities to provide legal support to the University on a diverse range of matters, including:
- Real estate
- Dispute resolution
- Strategic projects
- Regulatory matters
- Student matters
- Research support and consultancy
- Technology transfer
This post is full-time (35 hours per week).
Your Skills And Attributes For Success
- Recent relevant experience of developing and delivering complex legal advice for diverse organisations and managing governance and risk.
- Ability to provide commercial advice and take a pragmatic approach to solving legal and other problems.
- A self-motivator who is able to work independently and manage his or her own workload.
- Experience of advising in relation to significant strategic projects.
