We are seeking a Recycling Plant Engineer to join our team in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. In this role, you will be instrumental in contributing to and driving continuous improvement in maintenance activities to ensure optimal plant efficiency.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing all electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks
- Participating in planned preventative activities
- Supporting the maintenance team in delivering a first-class service to the company
- Reacting promptly to any breakdowns and ensuring that all maintenance needs are met to the standards set by the Engineering Manager
Qualifications:
- Time served Engineer or qualified to SVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Relevant experience working within Mechanical, Electrical, and Technical disciplines
- Excellent knowledge of Technical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems
- Previous experience in an operational environment is preferred
- Confident, self-motivated, and resilient, with the ability to proactively identify issues
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
