We are seeking a highly experienced Tanning Operations Manager to oversee our raw hides to Wet Blue processing at our facility in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. In this pivotal leadership position, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable daily operations of the tannery. You will lead performance initiatives, manage production teams, and drive continuous improvement across health & safety, quality, environmental, and sustainability standards.
Your role will involve orchestrating the execution of our production plan to meet KPIs, optimise resource utilisation, and ensure that all products consistently meet cost, quality, and delivery targets. Additionally, you will lead accountability, develop shift patterns, promote a coaching‑led leadership style, and foster a culture of open communication and collaboration. Your strategic input will help strengthen our position as the UK’s largest leather manufacturer, serving clients globally, including prestigious brands like Aston Martin and Jaguar Land Rover.
To Be Successful You Will Need:
