We are seeking a highly skilled Network & Systems Administrator to join our dedicated IT team based in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Scottish Leather Group’s IT infrastructure, ensuring network security, efficiency, and resilience. You will install, troubleshoot, and administer network solutions including firewalls, routers, switches, and cloud services, with a particular focus on Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Entra ID. Your expertise will contribute to safeguarding our systems through vulnerability assessments, security policy enforcement, and proactive monitoring. Collaborating closely with IT management and external partners, you will identify vulnerabilities, improve security measures, and support our ongoing digital transformation efforts. The role demands a detail‑oriented approach, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high security and operational standards across the organisation.

To Be Successful You Will Need:

  • Advanced training certifications or relevant degree required.
  • At least 3 years experience in a networking/infrastructure support related role.
  • A strong understanding and knowledge of computer, network, and security systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Cisco & Meraki networking devices.
  • Good teaching, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Own car and clean licence required.
