We are seeking a dedicated Permanent Warehouse Operative - Multi Skilled to join our busy team in Paisley, Glasgow. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehousing duties including picking, packing, and preparing materials to ensure the smooth distribution of finished goods. You will play a vital part in loading and unloading inbound and outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring all products are stored correctly and safely. The role requires a proactive approach to health and safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

As a multi-skilled operative, you may be tasked with operating forklifts after training and handling stock using RF scanning equipment, all while adhering to the company's standards and procedures.

To be successful you will need:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or operational environment is preferred.
  • Ability to manually handle and maneuver finished hides and other materials.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and resilient nature, capable of proactively solving issues.
  • Good attention to detail and basic IT skills for record keeping and reporting.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
  • Ability to operate forklift trucks (training provided if needed).
  • Strong team player with good communication skills and the ability to adapt to change.
  • Able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively to meet targets.
