We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Process Lead to join our team at Scottish Leather Group in Bridge of Weir, Glasgow. In this role, you will assist the Lead Supervisor in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our production process, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. You will be responsible for promoting a strong Health & Safety culture, coordinating daily operational activities, prioritising workplace organisation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Process Lead will also be involved in training staff, managing holidays and absences, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure customer demands are consistently met while upholding our company values of excellence, creativity, and sustainability.

To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in leading a small team or cell within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Understanding of operational metrics and KPI management.
  • Proven track record of upholding health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills, with a proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and motivate team members.
  • Experience with supporting continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a safety-first culture.
