We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Permanent Team Leader (Cutting) to join our dynamic team in Paisley, Glasgow. The successful candidate will support the Shift Lead by overseeing daily production activities, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and quality standards are met consistently. Your role will involve managing the scheduling and allocation of materials, coaching team members, monitoring KPIs, and maintaining optimum productivity. You will be responsible for fostering a safety‑first culture, ensuring machine setup and safety checks are performed, and maintaining workplace organisation to uphold our commitment to delivering high‑quality leather products for prestigious clients across various industries. Your leadership will be key in motivating the team, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring all operational targets are achieved in line with company values and procedures.
To be successful you will need:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting, ideally in an operational leadership role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and workplace organisation principles.
