Using your practical expertise, proactive approach, and commitment to high standards, you’ll help ensure our facilities remain safe, reliable, and fit for purpose.

In this role you will:

  • Help maintain a safe and efficient working environment by carrying out all activities in line with company Health & Safety and environmental standards.
  • Support operational continuity by working closely with the Engineering team to minimise disruption across the site.

  • Respond effectively to emergencies, adverse situations, and after‑hours building requirements with a proactive and professional approach.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance facilities, processes, and working practices, while supporting additional Engineering and operational projects as required.

You’re someone who understands that effective facilities management goes far beyond maintenance – it’s about creating safe, organised, and reliable environments that allow people and operations to succeed.

Qualifications:

  • You will have proven experience in a similar facilities or maintenance role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • You must be a highly experienced Painter & Decorator, with the ability to deliver high-quality finishing and refurbishment work.
  • You demonstrate a strong understanding of building maintenance practices, workplace organisation, and operational requirements.
  • You bring a proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • You are a strong team player who builds positive working relationships and communicates professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You show excellent attention to detail and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work with a strong focus on safety and standards.
  • You possess strong organisational, time management, and IT skills, enabling you to manage workloads effectively and maintain accurate records using company systems.
  • You take initiative, demonstrate accountability, and continuously look for opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and ways of working.

The impact you will have:

You will play a key role in ensuring our facilities and infrastructure operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption. Through proactive maintenance, problem-solving, and attention to detail, you’ll help maintain high standards across the site while supporting business continuity and operational performance. Your painting and refurbishment expertise will help ensure workspaces remain professional, safe, and fit for purpose, while your collaboration across Engineering and wider teams will support a more efficient and responsive working environment.

What’s in it for you:

You’ll benefit from a comprehensive rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, financial security, and career development. This includes a company pension, life assurance, company sick pay, enhanced annual leave that increases with service, and access to a health and wellbeing programme alongside an Employee Assistance Programme with private GP services. You’ll also have opportunities to grow through coaching, training, and development support. Practical perks include cycle to work and electric vehicle schemes, free on‑site parking, and access to a range of retail discounts.
