As a Facilities Technician, you’ll play a key role helping to maintain and improve the buildings and infrastructure that support our operation. Using your practical expertise, proactive approach, and commitment to high standards, you’ll help ensure our facilities remain safe, reliable, and fit for purpose.
In this role you will:
- Help maintain a safe and efficient working environment by carrying out all activities in line with company Health & Safety and environmental standards.
- Support operational continuity by working closely with the Engineering team to minimise disruption across the site.
- Take ownership of facility upkeep, maintenance, modifications, and modernisation projects across office and operational areas.
- Carry out painting, decorating, refurbishment, and finishing work to a high professional standard, ensuring buildings and workspaces remain well-presented and fit for purpose.
- Manage facilities spare parts and stores, ensuring critical items and resources are available when required.
- Conduct regular inspections of building assets, prepare condition reports, and recommend improvements or corrective actions where necessary.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, adverse situations, and after‑hours building requirements with a proactive and professional approach.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance facilities, processes, and working practices, while supporting additional Engineering and operational projects as required.

Qualifications
- You will have proven experience in a similar facilities or maintenance role, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- You must be a highly experienced Painter & Decorator, with the ability to deliver high-quality finishing and refurbishment work.
- You demonstrate a strong understanding of building maintenance practices, workplace organisation, and operational requirements.
- You bring a proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to respond positively to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- You are a strong team player who builds positive working relationships and communicates professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- You show excellent attention to detail and consistently deliver accurate, high-quality work with a strong focus on safety and standards.
- You possess strong organisational, time management, and IT skills, enabling you to manage workloads effectively and maintain accurate records using company systems.
- You take initiative, demonstrate accountability, and continuously look for opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and ways of working.
